The 4th annual Batters Up, hitting contest was held on Sunday, July 20. This contest has 3 divisions which include T-Ball for 5-6 yr.olds, Girls Softball for 7-15yr.olds, and Boys Baseball for 7-15yr.olds.

This program is growing ! Our 1st year we had 13 kids signed up to show their hitting skills. This year we had 60 kids signed up to show their hitting talents. The 1st Place Winners now go on to a State Elks Batters-Up Contest on August 23rd in Gillman, MN.

In addition to all of these kids, we had 12 Elk members and 9 other Volunteers to give at least 4 hours of their time to help kids.

A tremendous Thankyou to All who helped with this program for kids.

Brainerd Elks came home from State with some real big wins this year! Placing first or second in 
EVERY AGE GROUP!!!!!!
